Luxurious catalog with foil printing and outliers on the cover

Challenge

For this client, a strong first impression was key; the catalog needed to exude luxury. The design combines a powerful red cover with refined gold accents and a richly illustrated interior. In addition, a cover with endcaps was chosen that provides extra space for images and content but also gives the catalog extra strength.

The challenge was to realize a catalog in which design, materials and workmanship come together perfectly and give the printed matter a luxurious look.

Our approach

For the cover, we chose a sturdy cover with a soft touch laminate finish that lets the deep red pantone color speak for itself. The details were finished with gold foil, providing a sophisticated sheen and extra luxurious look.

It is a PUR bound book where the cover cut-off with turn-outs is flush with the inside. Our Muller Martini binding line with Easy-Fly for cover turn-outs can realize this combination perfectly in one pass.

Result

The result is a stylish catalog that immediately attracts attention. The combination of the red cover, gold foil and the outliers creates a neat and luxurious look.
